Flowing Mountain Meditation Group

These evenings offer a contemporary Buddhist approach to meditation practice, developing well-being, calm and insight. Insight (Vipassana) in the Buddhist tradition means to see clearly into the nature of existence. Resting into the ground of the body is fundamental to the approach offered here.

We offer an ongoing, supportive community of meditators and each session consists of guided meditation, silent sitting and walking or movement practice, and dharma talk/discussion. Beginners and experienced meditators welcome.

When:  Meets weekly on Monday evenings

Time:  6.15 – 7.45pm

Please be punctual and be settled before guided meditation begins.

Location:  Wheel of Life Studios, 21 Fingal St., Brunswick Heads, behind St Thomas Church.

Bring:  Your own cushions and mat (wooden floor). A yoga mat is good. Some chairs are available. You can lie down if physically you need to.

Please do not come if you are unwell or if you have any cold or flu-like symptoms.

Cost:  Dana is the 2,500 year old practice of generosity or gift giving to the teacher. In the Insight tradition the teacher does not receive payment for the teaching.
